So Tabi's post made me decide to write some Tomoyo/Sakura.

I either have bad allergies or am coming down with a cold, because I've been alternating between sniffly and coughing and a sore throat and sneezing a lot in the mornings. D: I actually skipped class, but then it turns out there WAS none so I didn't miss anything. Phew!

Also a while ago I decided that in my headcanon Zuko not only loves spicy food but can handle stuff that would make most grown men breathe fire and cry. And the breakfast scene in this chapter's the first time I ever got to use it in a fic! \o/

I haven't wanted to do much of anything today. I logged out of Gaia after about an hour and haven't logged back on since. I shut out of TV Tropes after about two hours. I've watered my Berries on Platinum about six times since planting them this morning, but haven't bothered to do any level-grinding since I beat Volkner yesterday-ish (long story short, Level 38 Torterra w/Earthquake > Level 50 Electivire). I... just... nothing.
I did a lot of writing yesterday evening on my Zelda genderbender AU, The Legend of Lynn: Oracle of Secrets; got up to five and a half pages, one dramatic action scene and the beginnings of plot. Maybe I'll work some more on that tonight and turn it into my NaNo project.
At least I'm not sick any more, I think.

Chapter 1 is done! \o/ Wow, this story's already 16 pages...somehow it seemed shorter, maybe because it's a Word document and Word makes paragraphs look shorter, lol. And they ARE pretty short, so far there's a lot of POV switch-y vignettes.

Rei made it to 100 followers, maxed all her skills, and performed her first ultimate sacrifice today. Back to the grind!
Also, I discovered Shrimp On A Treadmill. Now I must share the joy with you all. I just hope the embed link provided by YouTube works...

Woke up this morning with a headache and the general feeling of having been hit by a truck, so I borrowed the roomie's thermometer and took my temp. 98.4* isn't feverish, right? So it's probably not H1N1, which is good because I have classes tomorrow and that would suck.
Got notes scribbled on my arm to pay the rent, water, and electric bills-- electric might take a while since I got a little cash-happy on Saturday and need to get money before I can pay that. Fortunately, that one I have until the 5th or 6th, so I can get money.
Level-grinding my few Ground pokes for Volkner's gym is slow going. I've grown a whole bunch of Leppa berries, though.

Note to self: PAY RENT TOMORROW (Monday)! It was due today, but they're closed on Sundays, so... yeah, I dropped the ball. BUT IF I PAY IT TOMORROW I DON'T GET HIT WITH LATE FEES.
I should also pay the electric bill tomorrow. And do my assignment for Photoshop class. Edit: And stop holding it against Jake that he's still holding a grudge against me!
Meanwhile, being "stood up" on Friday night gave me a chance to get back in touch with Pokemon Platinum. I mentioned walling Cyrus to death with my Probopass, and I did more or less the same to Giratina: beat it within an inch of its life with my Medicham, switched in my Bibarel to laugh off a Shadow Force (and people think Bibarel's only good as an HM bitch!), then switched to Probopass and started chucking Ultra Balls until it ran out of PP for everything else and killed itself in the face with Struggle.
Now I'm level-grinding for Volkner, and it's boring me to tears.
I'm also grinding on zOMG! I'm rather enjoying this event, probably more than the main one on Gaia (despite naked Gino!).

The only thing I hate about DST in the fall is what it does to my LJ entries. D: The clock seems to go all out of whack and I have to set it manually. (edit: THERE WE GO!)
